PURE CCR Diving Configuration
PURE proposes a standardized Closed Circuit Trimix Diving configuration, which can be adapted to different trimix diving environments, but with the same basis for all environments. Emphasis in also on the clean and hydrodynamic configuration, removing all possible line traps.
Basic Standardized Closed Circuit PURE Configuration
- Recognized CCR Unit for Trimix Diving
- Bailout cylinder(s) with strap and non-suicide clips
- Bailout stage regulators with button gauges, O2 clean if necessary
- Primary CCR Trimix computer (or depth gauge, timer and dive tables)
- Secondary CCR computer (or secondary depth gauge, timer and dive tables)
- Primary mask
- Secondary mask
- Adapted thermal protection for temperature at depth
- Fins with stainless steel straps
- Underwater writing slate (can be combined with dive tables)
Addition for Open Water Trimix dives in open sea
- Primary reel with enough line up to maximum depth of the dive
- Secondary reel with at least 60 meters of line
- Primary Surface Marker Buoy (red) with at least 25 liters volume
- Secondary Surface Marker Buoy (emergency-yellow)
- Mirror, Whistle, Light(s) depending on level of darkness at depth (min. 6h of battery autonomy)
- Other surface signaling devices recommended
Addition for Open Water Trimix dives in lakes or quarries
- Reel with enough line up to maximum depth of the dive Surface
- Lift bag with at least 25 liters volume Light(s) depending on level of darkness at depth
Addition for Overhead Environment Trimix dives
- Primary reel(s) with enough line till farthest exploration point to be reached
- Secondary jump/gap reel
- Primary light (recommended with battery canister and goodman handle)
- 2 Secondary light Safety lights
