Technical and Rebreather Diving Packs

To optimise your dive times, your safety and the observation of pelagic wildlife, we recommend the use of closed circuit rebreathers. During these expeditions, you will be able to use your own rebreather unit or rent one of our Inspiration, Evolution or Megalodon rebreather units. Contact us for availabilities.

Another possibility is to take your closed circuit rebreather course during the trip. In order to do this in the best way, we start the course two days before the trip, so the dives during the expedition will be more focussed on experience with the unit than on skill training. This will obviously allow you to enjoy the expedition at its best. If you're not a rebreather diver, ou if you don't want to dive on rebreather during this expedition, you can choose between one of the following options. Observation of sharks often requires deeper dives (-42 meters and more), with decompression obligations.

  • Option 1 : TEK LITE (or CCR Deco Air)
    • maximum -42m/-45m/-48m, according to the qualification of the diver
    • steel 15 litres twin valve cylinder
    • Stage decompression cylinder 8, 10 or 12 litres
    • Required certification : IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver (or Advanced Recreational Trimix), TDI Deco Procedures or DSAT Tec 45
    • Minimum 50 dives
  • Option 2 : Basic Trimix (or CCR Mod 3)
    • maximum -60m
    • Twinset 2x80cuf, with manifold and isolator valve
    • 1 or 2 stage decompression cylinders 8, 10 or 12 litres
    • Required certification : IANTD Normoxic Diver, TDI Entry Trimix Diver or DSAT Tec Trimix 65 Diver
  • Option 3 : Advanced Trimix (or CCR Mod 4)
